DRINK FROM YOUR OWN CUP...

This is a phrase I heard a long time ago in a church I attended in LA. It's my only tattoo. I lived with the thought and pondered it for many years before it became my personal bumper sticker. Here's what it means to me: Live your life, not somebody else's. God has given you your cup to drink from, and it's a good cup. It reminds me that it's OK to be on my own path, and not to compare myself to others. I always thought that, if I ever do get inked somewhere, it's gotta be something I believe, that holds true; something I don't grow out of. 

It's a gift I love, not only because of the message, but it was designed and given to me by my wife and daughters.
