The SongLever Project was a lyric-based songwriting curriculum I designed and taught in schools and other environments over a ten year period from 2010 to 2020. Basically, we’d go into schools, break kids up into groups of two’s, three’s and four’s, teach them to write, hold a contest, and record the winning songs (but all the kids were recognized for their work). We saw significant impact and powerful stories emerge from the experience they had. The following videos document the journey. Hopefully they speak for themselves.
